About this document
This document provides important information needed prior to installing, initializing, and operating the
HP StorageWorks 3000/5000 Enterprise Virtual Array.
Get ing help with installation
An HP authorized service provider will assist with the installation of the EVA3000/5000 hardware and
software components. You should not at empt to install or set up the Enterprise Virtual Array without
contacting an HP authorized service provider.
In North America, cal HP technical support at 1-800-474-6836. This service is available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week.
Outside North America, call HP technical support at the nearest location. Telephone numbers for

Enterprise Virtual Array documentation
A complete library of Enterprise Virtual Array technical documentation is available to assist you in the
installation and operation of the storage system. A CD containing all user documentation is included with
the Enterprise Virtual Array.
You can download the latest editions of the HP StorageWorks 3000/5000 Enterprise Virtual Array
release notes and other documentation from the following website:

Click Disk Storage Systems under Storage, and then select either HP StorageWorks 3000/5000 Enterprise
Virtual Array or HP StorageWorks 3000/5000 Enterprise Virtual Array under EVA Disk Arrays.
