Should you run out of lens filters and need to take a temperature, you may use the following lens filter cleaning procedure: • Clean the lens filter without removing it from the thermometer with a soft cloth or cotton swab moistened with alcohol. Do not use hot or boiling water. • Dry completely with a soft cloth before reusing. • Replace lens filter as soon as possible with a new one (LF 40 ). • Additional lens filters (LF 40 ) are available at most stores carrying Braun ThermoScan thermometers
