2 With the [8-UP] setting, you can also use the special sticker sheets. SELPHY CP: When you use the wide-sized photo paper with the [DEFAULT] setting, you can also use [2-UP] or [4-UP]. PRINT ERRORS If an error occurs while printing, an error message, for example [NO PAPER], will appear on the camcorder. Solve the problem referring to the error message list ( 108) and to the printer's instruction manual. • Canon's PictBridge-compatible printers: If printing does not resume automatically after you solved the problem, select [CONTINUE] and press to resume printing. If that option is not available, select [STOP] and press and then restart printing from the beginning. • Other printers or if the error still persists with a Canon printer: If printing does not resume automatically, disconnect the USB cable and turn off the camcorder. After a short while, turn on the camcorder and restore the USB connection. IMPORTANT • You may not be able to print correctly with a PictBridge-compatible printer still images whose file names have been changed or that were recorded, created, edited or changed with any device other than this camcorder. • If [BUSY] does not disappear, disconnect the USB cable and restore the connection after a short while. Trimming Settings Set the paper size and page layout before changing the trimming settings. 1 Open the print settings menu. Refer to steps 1-2 in Printing after Changing the Print Settings ( 74). 2 Select ( , ) [TRIMMING] and press . The trimming frame appears. 3 Change the size of the trimming frame. • Move the zoom lever toward T to shrink the frame, and move it toward W to enlarge it. Press to change the orientation of the frame (portrait/landscape). • To cancel the trimming settings, move the zoom lever toward W until the trimming frame disappears. 4 Move ( , ) the trimming frame to the area of the picture you want to print. FUNC. • The print area selected will be indicated by a green frame within the still image's thumbnail. • To change other print settings and print the area you selected refer to steps 3-5 in Printing after Changing the Print Settings ( 74). NOTES • The trimming settings apply to one image only. • The trimming settings are canceled in the following cases: -When you turn off the camcorder. -When you disconnect the USB cable. -When you expand the trimming frame beyond its maximum size. -When you change the [PAPER SIZE] setting. • You may not be able to set the trimming settings for a still image not recorded with this camcorder. Print Orders You can mark in advance the still images you want to print and set the desired number of copies as a print order. Later, you can easily print out the print orders by connecting the camcorder to a PictBridge-compatible printer ( 72). You can set print orders for up to 998 still images. ( 26) Selecting Still Images for Printing (Print Order) POINTS TO CHECK Set the print orders before connecting the USB cable to the camcorder. FUNC. ( 28) 1 Open the image selection screen. [ PRINT ORDER] appears on the screen. 2 Select ( ) the still image you want to mark with a print order. 3 Press to set the print order. The number of copies appears in orange. 4 Set ( ) the number of copies desired and press . To cancel the print order, set the number of copies to 0. 5 Repeat steps 2-4 to mark additional images with print orders or press twice to close the menu. Printing the Still Images Marked with Print Orders FUNC. ( 28) 1 Connect the camcorder to the printer using the supplied USB cable. Connection . Refer to Connection Diagrams ( 79). 2 Open the print settings menu. FUNC. [ MENU] [ PRINT] • The print settings menu appears. • If there are no still images marked with print orders, [SET PRINT ORDER] appears. 3 Select ( , ) [PRINT] and press . Printing starts. The print settings menu disappears when the printing is completed. NOTES • Depending on the connected printer, you can change some print settings before step 3 ( 73). • To cancel the printing, refer to page 74. • Restarting Printing: Open the print settings menu as explained in step 2. In the print settings menu, select [RESUME]* and press . The remaining images will be printed. Printing cannot be restarted when the print order settings have been changed or if you deleted a still image with print order settings. * In case the print order was interrupted after the first still image, this menu option will appear as [PRINT] instead.
