3 Clean the air quality sensor, the dust inlet and the dust outlet with a lightly moistened cotton swab. 4 Dr y them with a dr y cotton swab. 5 Reattach the air quality sensor cover. EN 14 3 To remove the pre-filter, grab the two projections and pull the filter towards you. 4 Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the prefilter or wash it under a running tap. If the pre-filter is very dirty, use a soft brush to brush away the dust. 5 Air dry the pre-filter. 6 Put the pre-filter back into the purifier. Attach all hooks properly to the purifier. 6 Clean the prefilter Note •• The pre-filter is washable and vacuum cleanable. •• Clean the pre-filter for every two weeks to ensure optimal functioning of the purifier. 1 Switch off the purifier and unplug it. 2 Place your fingers in the recess of the side panels and gently pull the bottom part of the front panel towards you (1). Then lift the hooks at the top of the panel out of the top of the purifier (2). 1 2 EN 7 To reattach the front panel, inser t the top hooks into the top of the purifier first (1). Then, push the panel against the body of the purifier (2). 12 Note • Alternatively, you can clean the pre-filter by removing the dust with a vacuum cleaner. • Make sure that the pre-filter is completely dr y. If it is still wet, bacteria may multiply in it and shor ten the lifetime of the pre-filter. • Make sure that the side with the two projections is pointing towards you, and that all hooks of the pre-filter are properly attached to the purifier. EN 7 Replace thefilters The filter replacement light ( ) indicates the filters have to be replaced. Note • If you remove the front panel for filter changing while the purifier is switched on, all lights on the control panel will be off. • Once the front panel is placed back to the purifier, all lights flash twice. Then, the purifier is off. Press the .. button to switch on the purifier again. Replace the activated carbon filter and the HEPA filter Note • The activated carbon filter and the HEPA filter are not washable nor vacuum cleanable. Replace both the activated carbon filter and HEPA filter when the light goes on.This will last for approximately 2 weeks. On the last day of the 2 weeks, the purifier beeps ever y 30 minutes to inform you that the filter needs to be replaced. Tip • When you remove or inser t filters, place the purifier against a wall for more stability. Note • Inser t the filters in the correct position. • Make sure you place the filters in the order of HEPA filter, activated carbon filter, and finally the pre-filter. • Make sure that the side with the tag is pointing towards you. 1 Switch off the purifier and unplug it. 12 3 Remove the filters using the tag on the filter. Take the filters by both sides and gently deposit them into the house hold trash bin. 2Place your fingers in the recesses of the side panels and gently pull the bottom par t of the front panel towards you.
