Anleitung Zusammenfassung

•“16 bit”is shown in the display for approximately 4 seconds. Notes: •For details on adding new sound, see p. 88. •For details of playing back a tape that has new sound on stereo 2, see p. 93. For MV500i • When you record to the MV500i from a camcorder with DV terminal outputs, the audio mode becomes automatically set to 12 bit. • In PLAY (VCR) mode, the audio mode takes effect when doing analog line-in recording or AV insert. When you do DV in recording, the setting automatically changes to that of the digital device connected to the camcorder. Using the FullRange of Features External microphone For greater creative control over audio recording, you can connect an external microphone to the camcorder via the MIC terminal. When using the MIC terminal, use a microphone with a built-in power supply (condenser microphone). It is possible to connect almost any stereo microphone with a plug diameter of 3.5 mm (1/8 in), however, their audio levels will be different from that of the built-in microphone. 61 Notes: E • When using an external microphone, use a microphone cable not longer than 3 meters to avoid electromagnetic inerference. • Be careful when using long microphones as they may extend into the frame. Wind screen The camcorder has an automatic wind screen to prevent wind noise from interfering with the sound track. Make sure it’s off when you want the microphone to be as sensitive as possible. Use the wind screen when recording in windy places such as the beach or near buildings. Using the FullRange of FeaturesTo turn it on, open the menu and select VCR SET UP. Then select WIND SCREEN, set it to ON and close the menu. • WS Ois shown in the display when you turn the wind screen on. IN in VCR SET UP submenu). • The wind screen does not operate when an external microphone is connected to the MIC terminal. 62 E Setting the Self-Timer PHOTO START /STOP PHOTO MENUSELF TIMER DATACODEDATA CODE POWER CAMERA PLAY(VCR) OFF 2, 3 21 For stills For movies PHOTO START /STOP PHOTO MENUSELF TIMER DATACODEDATA CODE POWER CAMERA PLAY(VCR) OFF 2, 3 21 For stills For movies This is useful when you want to include yourself in the picture when recording movies or still photographs.
