NOT FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION MAY RESULT IN BODILY INJURY. WARNING 31 27 2. Attach collar (8) to outer pole (5) as shown with T-Screw bolt (7). Tighten completely. 7 8 5 NOTE: THE T-SCREW (7) IS USED TO SECURE COLLAR TO OUTER POLE (5) UNTIL STRUTS ARE ATTACHED (STEP 4). AT THAT POINT THE T-SCREW (7) CAN BE LOOSENED. 6 4 P/N 211670 12/02 12/02 P/N 211670 3. 3. Attach pole assembly (5 & 6) to base (1) using bolts (20) and lockwashers (29) as shown. TWO PERSON MINIMUM REQUIRED FOR THIS PROCEDURE. NOT FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATION MAY RESULT IN BODILY INJURY. WARNING Attach left (3) and right (4) support braces to base (1) and then adjust collar (8) to accommodate strut height. Attach winch assembly (9, 10 & 11) to collar bracket using nut (25) and lockwasher (30) as shown [Winch components (9, 10 & 11) are preassembled]. 21121211111010925 9 IMPORTANT: CORD MUST PASS BEHIND SPACER AS SHOWN! Release the lever and unwind cable and attach top nut (25) and lockwasher (30) to fully secure winch assembly to collar bracket as shown. IMPORTANT: DO NOT ATTACH TOP NUT. ATTACH BOTTOM NUT ONLY. 30 10 11 TOP BOTTOM 8. 21121211111010925 Released KEEP AWAY FROM WINCH HANDLE WHEN UNWINDING -THE HANDLE WILL SPIN WHEN CORD IS UNWOUND! WARNING 30 Locked 7 12/02 P/N 211670 9. 9. Hook Indicator Bracket (13) around the Graduated Scale (12). Do not attach Rebound/Tip-in Indicator (14) yet, or the bracket will not fit around scale. 12 13 12 13 10. Attach Rebound/Tip-in Indicator (14) to indicator bracket (13) while holding bracket (13) in the position shown. The bracket/tip-in assembly (13 & 14) will not be secured until the next step (#11). 13 22 14 13 14 12 8 P/N 211670 12/02 11. 11. Attach unwound cord to indicator bracket (13) and bracket on outer pole (5) using nut (24) and lockwasher (28) as shown. 13 14 24 28 5 6 NOTE: THIS STEP FUNCTIONS TO RAISE THE OUTER POLE TO ACCOMMODATE THE DIFFERENT HEIGHTS DENOTED ON THE TIP-IN INDICATOR. 10 9 12/02 P/N 211670 12. Turn hopper (15) upside down and attach air checks (18) as shown by removing and then re-inserting the retaining (33) and clevis (32) pins connected to the air checks (18). NOTE: ITEMS (34 & 23) COME PREASSEMBLED TO THE HOPPER (15) BUT CAN BE REPLACED AND ORDERED SEPARATELY. 33 18 33 32 23 23 34 16 32 10 P/N 211670 12/02 13. 13. IMPORTANT! DO NOT EMPTY SAND FROM SAND BAGS INTO THE STORAGE BAGS. PLACE SEALED SAND BAGS COMPLETELY INTO STORAGE BAGS. 35 14 15 Tighten completely 9/16" wrench needed 5 THE HOPPER IS HEAVY!
