Anleitung Zusammenfassung
The Oven will not operate in the Toasting mode if the Bake/Broil Temperature control is not in the "off" position. 1. The Slide Rack should be in place for toasting. Do not use the Bake Pan for toasting. 2. Set the Toast Shade/Top Brown control as desired. For best results, select the medium setting for your first cycle, then adjust lighter or darker to suit your taste. 3. Push the Start Toast button. The "on" Indicator Light will come on and stay on during the toasting cycle. The Light will go out and the Oven will shut off automatically when toasting cycle is done. Note: When you have finished making as many batches of toast as desired, turn the Toast Shade/Top Brown control to the "off" position; a "click" sound will let you know that the control is in the "off" position. 4. To stop the toasting at any time, open the Oven door, then turn the Toast Shade/Top Brown control to the "off" position. For Top Browning: 1. The Slide Rack should be in place for Top Browning. Use the Bake Pan for items you want to top brown, crisp or melt--like individual pizzas or open-face grilled cheese sandwiches. 2. Set the Toast Shade/Top Brown control to Top Brown. 3. Push the Start Toast button. The "on" Indicator Light will come on and stay on during the Top Brown cycle. The Light will go out and the Oven will shut off automatically when the Top Brown cycle is done. Note: When you have finished Top Browning as many items as desired, turn the Toast Shade/Top Brown control to the "off" position; a "click" sound will let you know that the control is in the "off" position. 4. To stop top browning at any time, open the Oven door, then turn the Toast Shade/Top Brown control to the "off" position. For Baking: 1. Be sure the Toast Shade/Top Brown Control is in the "off" position. The Oven will not operate in the Bake or Broil mode if the Toast Shade/Top Brown control is not in the "off" position. 2. Turn the Bake/Broil Temperature control from the "off" position to the desired temperature. Note: When baking or cooking, always preheat the Oven for 5 minutes. 3. The upper and lower heating elements will cycle on and off to maintain temperature. Operation is interrupted when the door is opened. To continue operating, close the door. Watch for doneness. (See “Cooking/Baking Guide.”) 4. When finished baking, turn the Bake/Broil Temperature control to the "off" position. For Broiling: 1. Turn the Bake/Broil Temperature control to Broil. The Oven does not need to be preheated for broiling. 2. Place food on Broil Rack inserted in Bake Pan for broiling. Always use the Broil Rack inserted in the Bake Pan when broiling. Do not cover the Broil Rack with aluminum foil. 3. Place the Bake Pan on the Slide Rack and close the Oven door. 4. On the Broil setting, only the upper heating elements will operate; they will glow and fade, cycling on and off. 5. Use the chart below as a guide to broiling times. Check food for doneness at minimum time. 6. When finished broiling, using oven mitt or pot holder, remove Bake Pan, and turn the Bake/Broil Temperature control to the "off" position. IMPORTANT: When finished baking or broiling, you must turn the Bake/Broil Temperature control to the "off" position. While the "on" indicator light will go out when the door is opened, this mean that the unit is "paused" but not “off.” Care and Cleaning Cleaning Your Oven IMPORTANT: Before cleaning any part, be sure the Oven is off, unplugged, and cool. Always dry parts thoroughly before using oven after cleaning. 1. Clean the Glass Door with a nylon pad and sudsy water. Do not use a spray glass cleaner. 2. To remove the Slide Rack, open the door pull the rack forward and out. Wash the Slide Rack in hot, sudsy water or in a dishwasher. To remove stubborn spots, use a polyester or nylon pad. To replace the Slide Rack, open the door completely and slide the Rack into the rack support grooves. Be sure the Slide Rack is seated properly. 3. Wash the Bake Pan in hot, sudsy water or in dishwasher. To minimize scratching, use a polyester or nylon pad. Crumb Tray To open Crumb Tray, tip back Oven, pull the Crumb Tray knob forward and then down (A). Wipe with a dampened cloth or paper toweling and dry thoroughly. To close, pull the Crumb Tray knob forward, swing the Crumb Tray closed, and then push knob in to lock into place before operating the Oven. Exterior and Interior Surfaces Be sure the Oven has cooled completely. Wipe the top, exterior walls and the interior with a damp cloth or sponge.
