To turn on the SVM feature: 1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the PICTURE menu appears. 2. Press y or z to highlight SVM. 3. Press x or • to highlight ON. Note: The SVM feature can sometimes make the picture look artificial. If SVM is on, and you want the video material you are watching to look more natural, try turning off the SVM feature. Note: The picture quality and color temperature adjustments you make (see page 25) are automatically saved in the MEMORY picture preference mode. When you make picture adjustments, the picture preference mode automatically changes to MEMORY. yzx • MENU 26 Resetting your picture adjustments The RESET function returns your picture adjustments to their TV/VIDEO factory settings, as described below. To use the closed caption feature: yzx • 1. Tune the TV to the desired program or video. MENU 2. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the CLOSED CAPTION menu appears. 3. Press z or y to highlight CC. A closed caption signal may not display correctly in the following situations: • When a videotape has been dubbed • When the signal reception is weak • When the signal reception is nonstandard MOVE [ ][ ] CLOSED CAPTI0N SELECT CC: C1 C2 C3 C4 T1 T2 T3 T4 [OFF] Note: 4.
