REPEAT PLAY : OFF BEEPER ON SELECT SET END A ▼ KEY ► KEY MENU KEY When REPEAT PLAY : ON is selected, (the REPEAT indicator lights on the front panel), the Combination VCR will playback the tape to its end, or until a blank portion of 30 seconds or more is reached. (Erased portions of tape are not considered blank.) The tape is then automatically rewound and played again. This operation is repeated until you cancel Repeat Play. All function buttons (REW, FF, etc.) are operational during Repeat Play. Push MENU to exit the SET UP VCR screen. Then, push A V <3 E>to select “EXIT ” Now, push MENU to exit the MAIN MENU. You may also turn the repeat play feature on and off at the Combination VCR. During playback, push PLAY once or twice until the REPEAT indicator lights up (ON), or goes out (OFF). One Minute Skip With this feature, you can skip over commercials recorded on a tape. Push ZERO/1 MIN in Play mode. * The Combination VCR will go into FF search mode and skip over 60 seconds of recorded time. Then, normal playback will resume. Zero Search You can reset the Time Counter to zero and then return to that point. Push DISPLAY to display the Time Counter overlay. Push COUNTER RESET where desired to reset the Time Counter to 0:00:00. Push STOP on the remote control to stop recording. • Or, push STOP/EJECT on the Combination VCR. While it is possible to change the tape speed when you are recording, there will be some distortion on the tape where the change occurred. The remaining recording time of an OTR can be displayed by pushing DISPLAY. After the Combination VCR has been in Rec Pause mode for 5 minutes, it will stop automatically to protect the tape and video head. Selecting the Input Mode You can select the Input Mode in either of the following ways. ■ Push A V- The display will change in the order below. Push A Vto select “INPUT SELECT,” and then push £> repeatedly to select “TUNER” or “LINE.” 17 Basic VCR Operation Your Combination VCR can be set up to do a recording while you are away or otherwise occupied. Up to 8 programs can be placed in memory. You can choose to record one time, daily, or weekly.
