Connect the power adapter. The power adapter connects to the round jack on the bottom of the base. Plug the large part of the adapter into the wall outlet. Use only a 6V DC 350mA, center positive Class 2 adapter. 2. Connect the line cord. The line cord conncects to the telephone line jack on the bottom of the base. 3. Initial Setup After installing the phone, you should configure it for your location. To do this, you will need to set the local area code and the time and date.
