CLEANING 1. Make sure unit is unplugged before cleaning. 2. Remove motor unit by lifting up. 3. Remove the lid. 4. Remove the dispensing spout from the unit by turning counter clockwise then pull down, and away from unit. 5 Remove mixing paddle by lifting out of drum. 6. Remove freezer drum by pushing from underneath where the spout has been removed. 7. Wash mixing paddle, lid, drum and spout in warm soapy water. 8. Use slightly damp, non- abrasive sponge or non- abrasive towel to wipe clean outside of unit, then wipe with clean dry towel to dry. The upper part of the unit separates from the bottom to enable easy cleaning inside of drum area and spout. When removing parts for cleaning, use EXTREME CAUTION when removing the mixing paddle. This paddle is actually three pieces and it comes apart for easy cleaning. NOTE: Never immerse the motor unit in any liquid, wipe clean with damp cloth.
