Anleitung Zusammenfassung
. Use only specified peripheral equipment and interface cables. . The temperature of the surface and the bottom of your computer, the AC adapter, and the battery pack may rise due to the CPU load or an electric current generated while the battery pack is being charged. This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction. The amount of heat generation varies depending on external devices or software in use. . High precision devices are installed at the center of the base unit. If tasks which cause heavy loads to such devices are continued for a long time, the temperature at the bottom center of your computer may rise. In such a case, do not hold the bottom of the computer for an extended period of time, as it may cause low-temperature burns. . When the temperature of the CPU rises due to heavy loads on your computer system, the CPU speed decreases. This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction. Because the computer is designed to cool down itself without using heat- reducing fans, it automatically decreases the CPU speed or the voltage or turns off unused devices for decreasing the amount of heat generation. For your safety, it is highly recommended that you use genuine Sony rechargeable battery packs and AC adapters that meet the quality assurance standard, supplied by Sony for your VAIO computer. Some VAIO computers may only function with a genuine Sony battery pack. . Keep the battery pack away from all sources of heat. . Keep the battery pack dry. . Do not open or try to disassemble the battery pack. . Do not expose the battery pack to any mechanical shock, such as caused by dropping it on a hard surface. . If you are not using your computer for an extended period of time, remove the battery pack from the computer to prevent damage to the battery pack. . If you have not used the battery pack for a considerable amount of time, the remaining battery life may become short. This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction. The battery pack will gradually discharge over time even while not in use. Connect the AC adapter to your computer and recharge the battery pack before using the computer again.
