Moisten a soft cloth in hot water containing mild detergent. 2. Wipe the front surface gently. 3. Tilt the Grille cover forward slowly as shown in Fig. A. (Fig. A) 3. Slide the top flange of Grille along the top plate, then tilt the Grille down to fit as shown in Fig. E. 4. Wipe inside the Grille cover. To avoid the risk of injury when cleaning, DO NOT directly contact the metal edges of the Grille cover. Installing the replacement Charcoal Filter (NN-CF203) This product is shipped for use in the top exhaust ventilation mode. (Fig. E) If you wish to install this product without using an exhaust duct, the exhaust must be recirculated through the front grille 2. Tilt the front louver downwards, then secure with three and the charcoal filter. Remove the Standard Charcoal Filter Insert your finger under the bottom of the filter, and pull the Charcoal Filter forward as shown in Fig.C. (Fig. C) 25 Care and Cleaning of Your Microwave Oven (continued) Cleaning Grease Filters The Grease Filters should be removed and cleaned often, at least once a month. 1. Grasp the "metal ring" on the Grease Filter. Slide the Grease Filter to the rear of oven. Grasp the ring 2. Pull the Grease Filter out. 3. Use care when cleaning the Grease Filters. Corrosive cleaning agents, such as lye-based oven cleaners, may damage the Grease Filters. Clean the Grease Filters with a warm detergent solution. Do not use ammonia or other alkali because it will darken metal. Light brushing can be used to remove embedded dirt. Shake and remove moisture before replacing. Installing Grease Filters 1. Slide in the edge of the Grease Filters along the opening's guide edges. 2. Push up front edge and pull forward until it fits. opening guide Grease Filter Caution: After removing the Grease Filter, be careful with the sharp edges at the openings. Never operate the Vent Fan without the Grease Filters in place. Halogen Cooktop/Night Light Replacement Be careful as the Cooktop Light Cover and the bulb may be hot. 1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power. 2. Loosen the screw to open the Cooktop Light Cover. (Be careful not to lose the screw.) 3. Replace the old bulb with a new one. (use Max. 125 V, 30 W, Wide Pin Capsule Type/GY8.0~9.0 recommended) Cooktop Light Cover screw Do not touch a new Halogen bulb with bare hands. Fingerprints may result in shorter life. Remove fingerprints with alcohol. If this bulb is not available locally, contact your local Panasonic dealer. Part number is F67536Z00AP. Oven Light Replacement Be careful as the Oven Light Cover and the bulb may be hot. 1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power. 2. Remove the Vent Grille and Charcoal Filter. (see page 25 for Charcoal Filter replacement). 3. Lift the tab of Oven Light Cover, and push back. Lift up and remove the cover. 4. Replace the old bulb with a new one. (use Max. 125 V, 30 W) If this bulb is not available locally, contact your local Panasonic dealer. Part number is F612E5H00AP. 5. Reinstall the Oven Light cover securely aligning the hole in cover, onto the detent. detent hole Oven Light Cover When cleaning the Oven Light Cover or the adjacent area, clean with a soft damp cloth. To avoid scratches, do not use harsh detergents or abrasives. 4.
