However, times will vary depending upon the amount of coffee used and your personal preference. The best way to determine how coarse or fine to grind your coffee is to experiment with different grinds and coffee types to suit your taste. Grind Suggested Use Grind Time Coarse Percolator/ French Press 10 Seconds Medium Automatic Drip 20 Seconds Fine Espresso 30 Seconds MEASUREMENT SUGGESTIONS: For the richest coffee flavor, we suggest using one and one-half (1-1/2) rounded tablespoons of ground coffee for every 5 ounces of water. If you have a Cuisinart® Coffee BarTM Coffeemaker, the cups are measured in 5-ounce increments. The measurement markings on the lid indicate reference measurements. For example, for automatic drip coffee, if you fill the lid to the •••• marking with whole beans, you will have enough ground coffee to reach the •• marking. This equals enough ground coffee for two 5-oz. cups, using the Cuisinart recipe. Note: These markings are approximate. Experiment with different quantities to determine what works best. © 2000 Cuisinart Cuisinart® is a registered trademark of Cuisinart 150 Milford Road, East Windsor, NJ 08520 Printed in China. 00CU13423 IB-3714 ...
