This icon means that the function is not available on the disc now. Still Picture (Pause) Press [PAUSE/STEP n] during playback. • “IT appears on the FL display. • “II” appears briefly on the TV screen. Press [PLAY ►] to return to normal playback. [DVD] Still picture mode [CD] Pause mode Note: The sound is muted. -E17- Frame by Frame Advance Playback [DVD] Press [PAUSE/STEP ■ ■] during still picture. • “ii ►” appears briefly on the TV screen. Each time the button is pressed, the picture advances one frame. Press [PLAY ►] to return to normal playback. Notes: • The sound is muted. • Frame playback is operated forward only. PAUSE /STEP PLAY Picture Zoom [DVD] 1. Press [ZOOM] during normal/slow playback or still picture. The central part of the picture Is magnified, and Q 1” appears on the TV screen. • Each time the button Is pressed, the zoom mode will be changed as follows: Q 1 — Q 2 — Q Off • Press [A], [►], [▼] or [<<] to change the zoom point. 2. Press [ZOOM] to select “ Q Off” to returm to the original screen. Note: Picture Zoom may not work on some discs. ZOOM A. ►, T, ^ Viewing from a Desired Camera Angle (Multi-Angle) [DVD] Some DVD video discs may contain scenes which have been shot simultaneously from a number of different camera angles. The jacket or case of discs that are recorded with angles will be marked. Example: s~y~\ □03 Note: The recorded angles differ depending on the disc used. 1. Play the disc that is recorded with angles. 2. Press [ANGLE] repeatedly until the desired angle appears. Example: ANGLE- ANGLE REPLAY Angle Replay During Multi-angle playback screen, press [ANGLE REPLAY], The player skips back to last approximately 10 seconds, changes it to the next camera angle and plays it, and continues playback. If desired, press the button again. Important Note: “ 0 ” may appear on the TV screen during operation. This Icon means that the function is not available on the disc now. Need help?
