• DO NOT use side burner to deep fry food in oil to avoid dangers associated with oil igniting creating a very dangerous situation. USING OTHER FEATURES OF THE GRILL: USING THE BUILT-IN ELECTRICAL OUTLETS 1. Open the lid of electric outlet box (Pull up). 2. When connecting, first connect plugs from grill accessories to the built-in electrical outlets inside grill cabinet then plug grill power cord into a 120V source outlet. 3. Use only a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFCI) protected circuit with this outdoor cooking gas appliance. 4. Never remove the grounding plug or use with an adapter of 2 prongs. 5. Use only extension cords with a 3 prong grounding plug, rated for the power of the equipment and approved for outdoor use with a W-A marking. 6. Turn ON/OFF switch of built-in electrical outlet to turn power on to electric outlets. 7. Close the lid of built-in electrical outlet box (Pull down). CAUTION: You must turn power ON to control box before using your grill. Refrigerator Control Box Built-in Electrical Convention Oven Built-in Electrical Outlet Power Cord ON/OFF Switch of Built-in Electrical Outlet Built-in Electrical Outlet Box Cover (Pull up) Power Cord Power Cord Outlet Power Cord THE CONVECTION OVEN: The convection oven can be used to bake your favorite cookies, cakes, pies, brownies, etc. We do not recommend the use of roasting bags, plastic or glass containers in the oven. For best results, it is recommended that you preheat the convection oven for 5 minutes at 400°F (204.4°C) temperature. 1. Place the Bake Rack in the Rack Support Guide, facing down. 2. Press the power “ON/OFF” button of convection oven for 2-3 seconds, until a buzzing sound is heard. 3. Set the oven temperature by pressing “+10” and “-10” buttons. 4. Set the baking time by pressing “+1” and “+10” buttons (From 0 to 60 minutes). 5. Press “START/STOP” button of Convection Oven, to start Convection Oven. 6. Place item to be baked on the baking rack or baking pan. 7. Use the convection function, press the "FAN" button switch on control panel. To stop, press the "FAN" button again. Note: A bell will signal at the end of the baking time. Convection Oven Crumb Tray WARNING • When the “START/STOP” indicator light is on, the convection oven is activated. • Appliance surfaces are hot during and after use. Always wear protective, insulated oven mitts when touching hot Oven or hot dishes and food, or when inserting or removing the Bake Rack, Bake Pan, or other baking dishes. 1. When the baking time of the convection oven runs out, the oven will turn off automatically. 2. The baking temperature and the baking time must be set before operating the convection oven. 3. Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with aluminum foil. This may cause overheating of the convection oven. 4. Use extreme caution when removing crumb tray, hot grease or other hot liquids could spill. 5. Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in the convection oven, as they may create a fire or a risk of electric shock. 6. Fire may occur when oven is hot or in use and grill is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls, etc. Do not store any items in the oven when in use. 7. Only use containers constructed of either metal or tempered glass (Pyrex). 8. Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: cardboard, plastic, paper, or other flammable materials. 9. Do not store any materials, other than manufacturers recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use. 10. Always wear protective, insulated oven mitts when inserting or removing items from the hot oven. 11. This appliance has a tempered, safety glass window. Tempered glass can break, use caution to avoid cuts from sharp edges. Avoid scratching glass surface or nicking edges. GRILL COOKING TIPS CLEANLINESS • Always wash hands thoroughly with soap and hot water prior to handling food and after handling raw meat, uncooked poultry or seafood. • When using a platter to carry raw meat, uncooked poultry or seafood to the grill, make sure to wash the platter thoroughly with soap and hot water before placing cooked foods back on the platter or use different platters for raw and cooked foods. • Never use the same utensils when handling raw meat, uncooked poultry or seafood unless you wash the utensils thoroughly with soap and hot water. • Never re-use marinade from raw meat or uncooked poultry on foods that have been cooked and are ready to be served.
