("COBY") warrants this product to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use for 90 DAYS from the date of original purchase. COBY agrees at our option under this warranty, to repair or replace any parts that become defective in normal use, free of charge to the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover any product, which has been subjected to neglect, unreasonable use, accident, and violation of operating instructions, damages due to material erosion as a result of climatic conditions, acts of God, or any product that has been repaired or modified by an unauthorized service agent. This warranty does not cover Products sold AS IS or sold through non-traditional retail markets (e.g. online auctions, garage sales, flea markets). This warranty does not extend to cost incurred for installation, removal or reinstallation of the product, or damages to tapes, discs, speakers, accessories or electrical systems. This warranty does not cover improper use or installation of 12-volt applications. To obtain factory service, return this unit freight-prepaid to our Customer Service Department. Please retain all packagings and material to prevent damage in transit. The unit will not be accepted for service if there are scratches or damages to the unit as the result of handling. The unit(s) must be packaged in such a way as to reasonably protect it from possible shipping damage. A copy of the sales receipt, a detailed description of the problem and all parts or accessories must be included. If the product is no longer under warranty, the consumer will be responsible for all freight charges and repair/service costs.
