Color Filter Kit Kit de filtre couleur English Thank you for purchasing the Sony color filter kit VF-MP5K. Main Features • Color filter: Blue is emphasized in the picture when shooting underwater. Mounting the color filter lets you shoot images with more natural color. • Diffuser: This adjusts the flash of the digital still camera housed in the marine pack to prevent white-out of close subjects when shooting underwater. Method of Use The color filter and diffuser are used only when shooting underwater. Color Filter A Mounting the color filter Snap the color filter on as shown in the illustration to mount it on the front glass portion of the marine pack. • Attach the supplied strap to prevent the color filter from falling off during use. • Be careful not to let air bubbles enter the space between the color filter and the marine pack. If bubbles enter this space, detach and remount the color filter underwater to remove the bubbles. Removing the color filter Holding the top and bottom of the filter as shown in the illustration, pull to remove the filter. Note Make sure the strap is not in front of the lens when shooting underwater. Diffuser B Mounting the diffuser Follow the procedure shown in the illustration and mount the diffuser on the diffuser mount on the front of the marine pack. Make sure the diffuser is securely attached so that it does not shift during use. Removing the diffuser Hold the diffuser as shown in the illustration and pull it in the direction of the arrow. Cleaning • Wash the color filter thoroughly with fresh water after use. • Do not use thinner, benzine, alcohol or other solvents. • If suntan oil, etc. sticks to the filter kit, wash it thoroughly with warm water.
