Image Resize Types ( o : Selectable) -A large sized image can be resized to a smaller sized image, but not vice versa. -Only JPEG images can be resized. Movie clip (AVI), Voice recording (WAV) files can’t be resized. -You can change the resolution of only those files compressed in the JPEG 4:2:2 format. - The resized image will have a new file name. The [Start Image] image is stored not on the memory card but on the internal memory. -If a new user image is saved, one of the two user images will be deleted in order. -If the memory capacity is insufficient to store the resized image, a [Memory Full!] message will appear on the LCD monitor and the resized image can't be stored. . . . . Icon Descroption U Captured images will be stored in black and white. U Captured images will be stored in a sepia tone (a gradient of yellowish brown colours). . Colour Filter With this menu, you can change the colour information of the image (excluding Red, Blue, Green and Yellow) to Black and White. 1. Select ( .) by pressing the Up/Down button. Press the OK button and the image is saved as a new file name. _PLAY Up/Down/Left/Right button: Changing the location E (Effect) button : Special Colour Colour mask With this menu, you can select a part you want to highlight. The rest of the image will be in black and white. SPECIAL COLOR Move ExitE.... Color Mask SetOK BackE Press the OK button and you can set the shown. Select ( .) the selected area will be size and location of the part to be highlighted. Move SizeTW OK Set W / T button : Changing size of selected part Move SizeTW OK Set Move Size OK Set TW [Final image] Press the OK button twice and the colour masked image will be saved as a new file name. 04 PLAY PLAY_ 67 E (Effect) button : Image editing 1. Press the play back button and press the E button. 2. Select ( +) menu tab by pressing the Left/Right button. Red eye Removal Red eye effect can be removed from the captured image. 1. Select ( !) by pressing the Up/Down button and press the OK button. 2. The [Processing!] message displays and the image is saved as a new file name. Red Eye Fix Set BackOK E Brightness control You can change the brightness of the image. 1. Select ( z) by pressing the Up/Down button and a bar for selecting the brightness will be displayed. 2. Change the brightness by pressing the Left/Right button. 3. Press the OK button and the image will be Brightness Move Set ................OK saved as a new file name. _PLAY Contrast control You can change the contrast of the image. 1. Select ( ,) by pressing the Up/Down button and a bar for selecting the contrast will be displayed. 2. Change the contrast by pressing the Left/ Right button. 3.
