Anleitung Zusammenfassung
Do not use for industrial purposes. • Before the first connecting of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds the mains voltage in your home. • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or any part of the steam humidifier in water or other liquid; do not unplug humidifier with wet hand. • Do not rub the surface of humidifier with chemically active liquids. • Avoid the water leaking into the inner parts of humidifier. • Do not add water through the mist outlet. • Do not add water directly to the water channel on the base. • Do not add metal solutions, chemicals into the water tank and the water channel on the base. • Avoid water freezing in the humidifier. • Do not lift the water tank while the humidifier is working • Do not pour water from the water channel when humidifier connected to power supply. • Do not disassemble the humidifier. • Return malfunctioning appliances for repair to near service center. Only qualified persons should do repair of the device. • Do not let the cord hang over edge of table, or counter, or touch hot surface. Do not use humidifier with a damaged cord or plug. • Do not place humidifier on or near a hot gas or electric stores and heat sources like fire, radiators, stoves, etc. Keep it away from ventilating holes and furniture. • Keep the humidifier away from direct sunlight. • Operate the appliance only when there is water in the water tank. • Hold the base tightly when move the humidifier. Do not move the humidifier when it is working. • Close supervision is always necessary. 2 OPERATION • Place the humidifier on a level, stable and dry surface. • Fill water tank with clear water through the water inlet on the tank bottom. • Lift the water tank, turn it over, unscrew the water inlet knob, pour the water. • Screw the water inlet knob tightly. Use a soft cloth to wipe off the water on the tank surface. • Put back the water tank on the base. • Wipe off the water on the base surface with a soft cloth. • Plug the humidifier into the electricity supply. • Turn the rotary switch clockwise. The power indicator will light. • Continue to turn the rotary switch, mist will come out from the mist outlet cover after about 2 minutes. • Set the switch to the position at which the needed quantity of mist is got. • The humidifier can keep working 8 hours if water is added full. • There is a thermostat inside to automatically prevent over-heating. • There is the build-in safety device which will automatically cut off the power supply if the circuit is overheated due to unexpected causes. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Do not forget to unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning, maintenance and filling water. Clean water tank and the water channel (once a week) • Lift the water tank and turn it over. • Remove the water inlet knob. • Wipe off the stains and water furrings in the tank with the soft cloth then rinse with clean water. Clean the mist tank, mist tank cover and the vapour cover (once a week) • Use a soft cloth to wipe off the stains and dusts. Important: In cleaning do not use petrol, paint thinner of other chemicals. Storage of humidifier • If the humidifier is not in use for a long time, please unplug it. • Clean the humidifier carefully as instructed and dry it, then pack it in the original box and store in dry place. 3 Common problems and solution Problems Cause Solution Power light is off The plug is not in use and the power is off Put the plug in socket correctly and turn it on Power light is on, wind exists but no fog No water in the tank Fill the water tank with water The odor of the fog New appliance or the water is not clean Open the water tank and place it in the shade for 12 hours.
