Remove the SHEET and MATTRESS (D, E) from the TOTE BED (A). Remove the inner fabric liner from inside the TOTE BED (A) by separating the hook and loop tape around the top, inner edge. Insert the FOUR RIB SUPPORTS (B) into the vertical pockets on the inside of the TOTE BED (A). There is one at the head, one at the foot, and one on either side. Replace the fabric inner liner by refastening the hook and loop tape. Replace the sheet and mattress inside the bed. STEP 2: See PICTURE 2. Join the zipper pull on the HOOD (C) to the zipper on the top edge TOTE BED and zip around the full edge of the hood/ bed. The hood can be removed and reattached at any time. Inner liner and sheet are 65% polyester/ 35% cotton. Machine wash cold gentle cycle; tumble dry low or air dry. Iron on lowest setting for poly/cotton fabric if desired. Do not put tote bed or hood into washing machine or dryer. WARNING ! ! ATTENTION ! ! FAILURE TO FOLLOW WARNINGS FOR YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY MAY RESULT SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH: For use until your baby is 25 lbs. (11.4 kg), OR when Baby can push up, roll over, or crawl - whichever limit comes first. DO NOT use the Tote Bed if Baby exceeds any one of the age, weight, or activity limits. Baby must be a minimum of 8 pounds (3.6 kg) to use this product. Never leave Baby unattended in the tote bed. Tote bed is not a swing or cradle. Do not swing or rock it. Tote bed is not a car seat. It is never to be used to restrain your baby in a motor vehicle. Always use an approved child restraint seat as required by law. Check with your local police department if you are not sure what is required by law in your area. Adjust the carrying straps to the same length and secure with the grip. ALWAYS carry the tote bed using BOTH straps and support the bottom of the bed with one hand underneath it. DO NOT allow other children or pets to climb into the tote bed when your infant is inside. DO NOT attach or place toys with strings in or around the tote bed. Strings can cause strangulation or choking. Keep tote bed away from stoves, heaters, camp fires/flames, fireplaces, stairs, open windows, window blinds, running or standing water, and any other hazard which could cause injury to your baby. NEVER use plastic bags inside the tote bed such as to cover the mattress. NEVER place more than one infant in the tote bed at the same time. Tote bed should always be placed on a firm, flat surface. It should never be placed near stairs or on tables or elevated surfaces. Use extreme caution when carrying your baby in the bed when going up and down stairs and/or when carrying your baby in the tote bed outside in wet or inclement weather. SUFFOCATION HAZARD: to help prevent suffocation/entrapment, use only the mattress provided and never use pillows, loose bedding, or stuffed animals inside the tote bed. Use only sheets that are designed for the size of mattress. DO NOT use this product is any signs of excessive wear are found or the product is broken.
