Anleitung Zusammenfassung

11. Attach the four Velcro straps on the front vestibule of the fly to the orange vestibule pole. 12. Clip the side release buckles of the fly and tent body together on the corners of the front of the tent (with the front vestibule door) to mate the fly with the tent body. 13. At the foot and head of the tent, attach the hooks on the tent body to the loops on the inside of the rain fly to pull tent body taut for extra space. 14. Stake out all corners and guy lines for optimum stability, space and ventilation. FAST FLY SET UP INSTRUCTIONS If you purchase the optional Big Agnes footprint for our Parkview tents, it will enable you to pitch a shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly configuration requires the footprint, tent fly, poles and stakes. 1. Lay the footprint on the ground and stake out. 2. Assemble the hub/pole frame and insert the four pole tips into the inner grommets on the footprint. Parkview 2: the pole section connecting the two hubs should run across the width of the footprint. Parkview 3: run the silver pole over the hub/pole frame and insert tips into the grommets on the side of the footprint. 3. Drape tent fly over the poles, aligning the vestibule doors with the long side of the footprint for the Parkview 2 and the short side for the Parkview 3. The front vestibule has the largest vestibule space and the rear vestibule has a single, vertical zipper. 4. Clip the side release buckles of the fly and footprint together on the corners of the rear of the tent (with the rear vestibule door), to mate the fly with the footprint. 5. Attach the Velcro straps on the underside of the fly to each pole on the hub/pole frame and silver pole on the Parkview 3. 6. Feed the single, orange pole through the small webbing loop at the top of the front vestibule on the underside of the fly and insert the two pole tips into the outer grommets on the corners of the front of the tent. 7. Clip the side release buckles of the fly and footprint together on the front corners of the tent to mate the fly with the footprint. 8. Attach the four Velcro straps on the front vestibule of the fly to the single pole. 9. Stake out all corners and guy lines for optimum stability, space and ventilation. Separate 6", large diameter pole segment included for emergency field repair. Slide repair pole over the break to act as a splint. HELPFUL HINTS FOR TENT SET UP • Our tents are easy to set up but we suggest you practice once at home before using them for the first time to avoid late night bickering with tent mates while fumbling around in the dark. • Before pitching tent, clear campsite of debris that may pierce tent floor. • Big Agnes tents are all freestanding, but we recommend staking them out to increase space and keep your tent from becoming a tumbleweed. • Hang onto your stuff sacks or they’ll blow away and create backcountry litter. • Pull on the pole sleeve fabric when inserting poles to avoid any bunching in the material. • Push rather than pull poles through pole sleeves. parkviewsetupinst08 10/26/07 10:16 AM Page 2 Parkview 2 Parkview 3 Cut here to remove.
