For your benefit, read this manual carefully before using the treadmill. If you have questions after reading this manual, please call our Customer Service Department toll-free at 1-800-999-3756, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Mountain Time (excluding holidays). To help us assist you, please note the product model number and serial number before calling. The model number of the treadmill is RBTL71930. The serial number can be found on a decal attached to the treadmill (see the front cover of this manual for the location). Before reading further, please review the drawing below and familiarize yourself with the labeled parts. Set the treadmill in a cleared area and remove the packing materials. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed. Assembly requires the included allen wrench and your own 9/16” wrench , rubber mallet , and Phillips screwdriver . Use the part chart below in identify small parts used in assembly. Extra parts may be included. Star Washer (113)–4 Base Leg Nut (70)–4 Thick Base Pad (75)–2 Thin Base Pad (103)–2 Base Leg Bolt (77)–4 Latch Screw (36)–21/2" Screw (51)–103/4” Tek Screw (12)–4 Console Bolt (42)–4 1/2” Tek Screw (22)–8 1. With the help of another person, carefully tip the treadmill onto its left side. Have a second person hold the treadmill. Attach a Base Leg (78) to the Base (117) with two Base Leg Bolts (77) and two Base Leg Nuts (70). Make sure that the Base Pad (75) is in the position shown. Attach the other Base Leg as described above. Attach two Thin Base Pads (103) (only one is shown) and two Thick Base Pads (75) (only one is shown) to the Base (117) with four 3/4” Tek Screws (12). 1 75 78 70 117 77 77 12 103 12 75 6 7 3 3. Have another person hold the Console Base (52) near the Uprights (117). Locate the wire harness extending from the Console Base. Connect the wire harness to the Wire Harness (55) in the Right Upright. The connectors should slide together easily and snap into place. If the connectors do not slide easily and snap into place, turn one connector and then insert it. IF THE CONNECTORS ARE NOT CONNECTED PROPERLY, THE CONSOLE MAY BE DAMAGED WHEN THE POWER IS TURNED ON. Carefully feed the connectors and the excess wire harness into the Right Upright (117). Then, carefully set the Console Base (52) on the Uprights. Be careful not to pinch the wire harnesses. Tighten four Console Bolts (42) with Star Washers (113) two to four turns into the Uprights (117) and the Console Base (52). After all four Console Bolts have been started, tighten them. 113 113 42 42 117 52 55 Wire Harness 4. See the inset drawing. Identify the Right Top Handgrip (53) (there are identifying marks inside of the Handgrips). Set the Right Top Handgrip on the right Handgrip Post (41). Insert two 1/2” Screws (51) into the two holes in the Handgrip Post indicated by the arrows. Tighten the Screws into the Right Top Handgrip. Important: Be careful not to insert the two 1/2” Screws (51) into the wrong holes in the Handgrip Post (41), or tighten the Screws into the plastic bosses on the bottom of the Right Top Handgrip (53). Slide the front of the Right Top Handgrip (53) against the Console Base (52). Then, firmly tighten the four 1/2” Tek Screws (22) (only two are shown). 51 52 22 53 Left 41 Right 4 21 53 2. With the help of another person, carefully raise the Uprights (117) to the vertical position, with the wheels and the walking platform on the floor as shown on page 5. Insert a Handgrip Post (41) into the tube on top of the left Upright (117). If necessary, tap the Handgrip Post with a rubber mallet to make sure that it is fully seated. Then, tighten four 1/2” Tek Screws (22) several turns into the tube and the Handgrip Post. Do not fully tighten the Tek Screws yet. Attach the other Handgrip Post (41) to the right Upright (not shown) as described above. 2 22 22 41 117 Bosses 55 Front 8 7. To protect the floor or carpet from damage, place the included Mat (66) under the front of the treadmill. Note: If the treadmill rocks slightly, tip the treadmill onto its side. See step 1. Loosen the four Base Leg Bolts (77), adjust the positions of the Base Legs (78), and then retighten the Base Leg Bolts. Raise the treadmill back to the vertical position. Repeat until the rocking motion is eliminated. 7 8. Make sure that all parts are properly tightened before you use the treadmill. Keep the included allen wrench in a secure place. The allen wrench is used to adjust the walking belt (see page 25). To protect the floor or carpet from damage, place a mat under the treadmill. Extra parts may be included.
