Anleitung Zusammenfassung

After several trial runs, you will quickly get used to these adjustments. It is advisable to turn down the adjustment button position if you are not using the toaster to its full extent (for example, just one slice). 3 • Placing the slices of bread : With the control knob in the UP position, place the slices of bread in each slot. 1 • Toasting the bread : Slide down the control knob. Push down -the control knob locks into the DOWN position. The positioning basket grilles adjust automatically depending on thickness, and centre the slices between the heating elements, which then heat up. NB : This electronic model only switches ON in the DOWN position when the toaster is connected. Sound working could possibly be affected in the long run by crumbs or dust inside the toaster. Just slide the control knob up or down several times to dislodge crumbs, and then lock in DOWN position. 5 • To stop toasting : When the bread is toasted, the knob unlocks and springs up automatically, the toaster stops toasting and the slices of bread pop up. If you toast currant buns, take out the currants which might drop off, for these could damage the toaster and lead to a short-circuit. You can interrupt toasting at any time by placing the adjustment button on the STOP/EJECT position. 6 • Warming buns and croissants, etc. : (accessory available, depending on model) Your toaster is fitted with a 'bun and crois- sant warming' patented accessory, which folds to make storage easier. Before use, please follow these instructions : - Snap handles in place - Open out the wire basket fully - Place the 'bun and croissant warming' accessory in the two slots in the toaster - Turn the adjustment button to the required position, 1 to 3 maximum - Place the buns or the croissants on the warming grid - Lower control knob to DOWN position - When heated, the control knob springs UP, and the buns are hot - You can turn the buns over when the cycle is finished, and the heat will still circulate for 1 to 2 minutes. The buns will be warmed all through. - After use, leave toaster to cool and then unplug. You can store the 'bun/croissant warming' accessory when cool by: - Folding the metal wire grid inwards - Folding in the handles Precautions : • You should not use the toaster to toast slices of bread and warm buns/croissants at the same time • Never place buns or croissants directly in the slots of the toaster • Do NOT use the accessory to cook or unfreeze frozen food 7 • Upkeep and cleaning : Before any upkeep, unplug and leave the toaster to cool down. Open the crumb tray and empty. Never use a metal object inside the toaster, this could cause serious damage. Wipe the outside of the toaster and the lead with a damp cloth. Dry. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning products, oven cleaners or bleach.
