(Refer to your local TV guide). Procedure CC • In SET UP Menu, select (Closed Caption). CC • Select ON MUTE • Select NO, C1 or C2. • Recommended set up for Closed Caption when using the MUTE button: CC • ON MUTE: C1 • CC MODE: OFF • Press the ACTION button to return to submenu options, and exit menus. • Press the MUTE button to activate the Closed Caption feature. • Press the MUTE button again to deactivate the feature. Text may be in any language. • C2 -For another mode of video related information. • Press the ACTION button to return to submenu options, and exit menus. 13 SPECIAL FEATURES Other Adjustments In SETUP Menu under OTHER ADJ. select: • AUTO POWER ON - Select SET to power up the TV at the same time as the Cable box or other components or select OFF. • GEOMAGNETIC CORR (CORRECTION) - Adjusts the tilt of the picture due to earth’s magnetic field in the area. ( For Models CT-27SX10 or CT-F2910X only.) OTHER ADJ. (CORRECTION). • Press u button to display the GEOMAGNETIC CORRECTION sub-menu. • Press t or u button to adjust the tilt adjustment bar until it is parallel to the bottom of the picture frame. 14 SPECIAL FEATURES TIMER Sleep In TIMER menu, select SLEEP to turn TV off in 30, 60 or 90 minutes. Select NO to turn off timer. TIMER HOW LONG? NO SLEEP TIMER1 TIMER2 u CLOCK SET Timer 1 and Timer 2 In TIMER menu, select one or both timers to turn the television on and off at selected times, on selected channels, and on selected days. Note: TIME must be entered in CLOCK SET to operate TIMER features. TIMER DAY ON TIME OFF TIME ENTER CHANNEL MON-FRI TIMER1 SLEEP TIMER2 u SET NO u CLOCK SET - - : - - - - : - - - - - SET TIME FIRST Turn Off After 90 Minutes The TV automatically turns OFF after 90 minutes when turned on by the TIMER. If the OFF time is selected or if a key is pressed, the automatic OFF after 90 minutes will be cancelled. TIMER Activation The TIMER is active when the TV is OFF or ON. The TV will switch to the selected channel at the selected time set in the TIMER. 15 SPECIALFEATURES PICTURE Video Adjustments In Picture menu under VIDEO ADJ. select: • COLOR - Adjusts desired color intensity. • TINT - Adjusts natural flesh tones. • BRIGHTNESS - Adjusts dark areas of picture. • PICTURE - Adjusts white areas of picture. • SHARPNESS - Adjusts clarity of outline detail. • NORMAL - Reset all picture adjustments to factory default settings.
