Press-Polyester/Cotton Blend) Between More & Less Dry Less Dry Between Less Dry & Cool-Down Sheer Lightweight Cottons Items Labeled "Dry With Low Heat" Automatic Delicate Automatic Delicate Automatic Delicate NOTE: Use the Fabric Selector setting appropriate for your load. For example: Set Fabric Selector on Delicate for delicate loads. Hint: Set timer based on previous load types and sizes. If load is too dry, set timer closer to Less Dry mark. If load is too wet, set timer closer to More Dry mark. Cool-Down Periods The AUTOMATIC REGULAR and AUTOMATIC DELICATE cycles have a five minute cool-down period at the end of the cycle. During that time, the load is tumbled with no heat. This helps reduce wrinkling. Setting the timer knob in a COOL-DOWN position will result in the load being tumbled with no heat. Do not remove load until COOL-DOWN period is complete and dryer stops. The signal (if selected) will buzz continuously for the final 30 seconds of the cool-down. 6 502222 Automatic Permanent Press/Knits Cycle Use this setting for permanent press, polyester knits, heavy and medium weight synthetics that are “no-iron”. The COOL TUMBLE portion of this cycle is a cool-down (no heat) period. The end of cycle signal (if selected) will buzz continuously for the last five minutes of cool-down. If clothes are not removed at that time, the timer will advance into the Cool Tumble cycle, where the signal will buzz 30 seconds for every five minutes of the 15 minute cycle before dryer stops. Suggested Dryer Settings Automatic Permanent Press/Knits Cycle Load Type Cycle (Timer Setting) Permanent Press Polyester Knits Heavy and Medium Weight Synthetics More Dry Lightweight,Delicates Sheers and those labeled "Dry With Low Heat" Less Dry Always use the SIGNAL with the AUTOMATIC PERMANENT PRESS/KNITS cycle. Remove load immediately upon completing cycle. This reduces wrinkling. Time Dry Cycle This cycle will operate the dryer for the number of minutes for which it is set (up to 70) with the same drying temperature as is used for the AUTOMATIC REGULAR cycle. Use for any load desired. Use for items you might want to remove while still damp. Set Fabric Selector knob to desired setting. Turn the timer knob for the number of minutes required for drying. This cycle has a five minute cool-down (no heat) period. The dryer will not heat if set for five minutes or less. The signal (if selected) will buzz continuously for the final 30 seconds of the cool-down. Suggested Dryer Settings Time Dry Cycle Load Type Minutes (Approx.) Cottons Heavyweight / Average Load 50-70 (More Dry) Lightweight / Average Load 20-40 (Less Dry) The times suggested are approximate. Your loads, installation, and drying requirements will determine the setting you should use. Your Time Dry cycle has three settings: WRINKLE OUT, LESS DRY and MORE DRY. • WRINKLE OUT In the Time Dry cycle, use the Wrinkle Out setting for clothes that have been previously dried and have become somewhat wrinkled from not being attended to promptly. • LESS DRY In the Time Dry cycle, use the Less Dry setting for clothes you want to remove from the dryer somewhat damp, yet dry enough to iron. • MORE DRY In the Time Dry cycle, use the More Dry setting for very heavy, hard-to-dry loads such as blue jeans or bath towels. No Heat Cycle This is a no heat cycle that tumbles and circulates room temperature air through the load for 15 minutes. Use for fluffing shag rugs, bedspreads, pillows, blankets, and other heat sensitive items that should not be dried with heat. The signal (if selected) will buzz continuously for the final 30 seconds. 502222 7 Operation Instructions -A WARNING - To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious injury or death to ...
