If your place of business is equipped with a wireless in-building telephone system, your handset can be used as a wireless extension to that system. If you do not have a wireless in-building telephone system, disregard the sections in this guide that contain specific in-building information. Your handset periodically scans these systems in the following order: 1. Cordless 2. In-Building 3. Cellular When a system is found, its operation mode is shown on the first line of the display. The current operation mode of the handset is displayed at all times. You can select which systems you want your handset to scan for. You can also switch between the systems you have selected. Your handset, however, does not switch systems during a call. 5 Introduction Calls to your cellular phone number can be forwarded to the base station if Call Delivery service is offered by your cellular service provider (see page 53).
