Anleitung Zusammenfassung

The LH-2C keyboard provides the touch response and full dynamic range required for superb control as you play. In addition, the LH-2C includes a special “Hymn Player” feature that allows anyone, regardless of musical ability, to play a large library of favorite Hymns and Children’s Songs. This Quick-Start Guide is designed to be used with the LH-2 Owner’s Manual that accompanied your instrument. To begin operating your LH-2C quickly and safely, please observe the following steps: 1. Safety First – Take a moment to study the “Important Safety Information” found on Pages 4-7 of the LH-2 Owner’s Manual. 2. Display Functions – Also take a moment to review Section 2 of the LH-2 Owner’s Manual (pages 8-9) entitled PARTS AND NAMES. The drawings on these pages will help you become familiar with the various control buttons and pedals on the LH-2C. 3. Power ON – Plug in the LH-2C and press the POWER switch. The display should light to indicate that power is on. 4. Language Selection – Within several seconds, the display will offer you a choice of four languages – English, Spanish, Portuguese or French. Quickly select the language of your choice. This language will become the “default” setting every time the LH-2C is turned on – or until the language is changed by a subsequent user. If the screen disappears before you have an opportunity to select a different language, turn the LH-2C off, wait for a few seconds, and then power the instrument on again to begin the screen sequence for selecting languages. 5. Set Volume – Adjust the VOLUME SLIDER to a minimum level when you first turn on the instrument, especially when using headphones. Then, adjust volume upward to a comfortable listening level. 6. Playing the LH-2C – Once the Language Selection Screen disappears, the Sound Selection Screen will appear in the display indicating that the PIANO 1 Sound (Bright Concert Grand Piano) is active. Play any key or chord and adjust the volume slider upward or downward to a comfortable listening. Press the buttons corresponding to the other six sounds on the LH-2C: Piano 2 is MELLOW GRAND PIANO Organ 3 is MEDIUM ENSEMBLE Organ 1 is SOFT STRINGS Organ 4 is LOUD ENSEMBLE Organ 2 is MELLOW FLUTES. Organ 5 is FULL ENSEMBLE 7. Organ Expression Pedal – Locate the ORGAN EXPRESS PEDAL to the right of the three piano pedals at the base of the LH-2C. This pedal allows you to control the volume of the five ORGAN sounds with your right foot (piano sounds are not affected). Make sure it is pushed forward slightly before playing any Organ sound. 8. Using the Bass Coupler – The BASS COUPLER button adds a single bass note to any selected Organ Sound. The added bass note is one octave below the lowest note currently being played. If you haven't already done so, press the BASS COUPLER button. The lamp on the button should light and the Sound Selection Screen should change to indicate the BASS COUPLER feature has been selected. You should hear the lower bass tone with the first notes played after the BASS COUPLER feature has been activated. The BASS COUPLER feature will only operate with notes played on the G above Middle C and below. Also, the BASS COUPLER feature will not operate with the HYMN PLAYER feature. 9. Using the HYMN PLAYER Feature The unique Hymn Player feature allows anyone – even those who lack keyboard skills – to play favorite hymns and children’s songs with just one finger. The following section will walk you through this feature step-by-step. Please refer to the diagram on page 15 of the LH-2 Owner’s Manual to identify the buttons below. a. Button Descriptions The left and right SELECT BUTTONS on either side of the display are used to select a Hymn, Children’s Song or other feature from the various menus that will be presented in the display. The seven FUNCTION BUTTONS (below the display) often work in pairs to allow you to select Up/Down or Left/Right for a particular function. The display will show clearly which functions are assigned to each Function Button at any time. Note that the currently active function will be highlighted. The rightmost Function Button (#7) will usually be assigned BACK functions. The ENTER/EXIT button is used to enter or exit the Hymn Player feature. b. Hymn/Song Selection If you haven't already done so, press the ENTER/EXIT button to activate the Hymn Player feature. The display will present a screen that allows you to select either Hymns or Children’s Songs. The LH-2C is equipped with two separate libraries – one for Hymns and the other for Children’s Songs. Use the appropriate Select Button to choose one library or the other. If you do not press a Select Button, the highlighted library will be chosen automatically. Once you have chosen one library (for example, Hymns), you can always move to the alternate library by using the “GO TO” button at the bottom left of the display. If you are in the Hymns library, press Function Button associated with “GO TO SONGS” to enter the Children’s Songs library. If ...
