DEPTH OF CUT 1980 & 1981 Loosen flat plastic thumb screw, turn knurled stop screw until desired length of cutter is exposed beneath base. 1982 & 1983 Loosen plastic thumb screw, turn large plastic ring at top of base until desired length of cutter is exposed beneath base. CHANGING BITS Disconnect tool from air line. Hold collet body with one wrench and loosen collet retaining nut with other wrench, replace cutting bit and retighten collet nut. Be sure bit is inserted into collet body before tightening collet nut. SAFETY 1. Wear eye protection when using this machine. 2. Disconnect tool from air line when changing bits or making adjustments. 3. Always keep hands away from rotating cutter bits. 4. Always check collet to make sure cutter bits are tight.
