(It is normal for the adaptor to feel warm during use.) • To connect a standard telephone on the same line, see page 11. 8 Battery Charge Place the handset on the base unit and charge for about 3 hours before initial use. e The IN USE/CHARGE/PROGRAM indicator tights. Recharge When the BATT LOW indicator flashes or the unit beeps intermittently, recharge the battery. • The BATT LOW indicator will continue to flash for at least 10 minutes once you begin recharging. This time will increase the more you use the handset while recharging. This will maximize the battery life. • The battery cannot be overcharged. 9 Preparation Settings Selecting the Dialing Mode You can program the dialing mode by using the handset near the base unit.
