M1/M2 buttons Allows you to store and dial one touch numbers, see page 12. Press to make or receive a call, see page 10. Talk button Keypad Quickdial button Allows you to store and dial up to 10 numbers in the memory, see page 13. Redial button Redials the last number called. Also, press to enter a pause in a stored number, see page 12. Secrecy / Music on hold Press to mute the call so your caller cannot hear you. When pressed music will be played to both you and your caller, see page 12. VIP VIP is an answering machine feature which answers calls silently when you do not want to be disturbed, but lets you know when someone you have given a code to is calling, see page 29. Microphone To record a message via the base unit. Mailboxes 1 & 2 Gives callers two additional messages in mailbox 1 and see page 28. Lets you skip backward and forward through your memos and messages, see page 24. Delete Deletes recorded messages and memos, see page 24. When a VIP calls, a different ring tone will be heard to alert you that a VIP is calling. Memo facility Allows you to leave memo messages for other users. 2 One touch memories Allows you to store two important numbers so they can be dialled at the touch of a button. 10 Quickdial memories Allows you to store up to 10 of your most frequently used numbers in the memory so they can be easily dialled.
