You will hear a confirmation tone. With some switchboards it may be helpful to dial a pause after entering the switchboard access code, e.g. 9, 11 etc. to enable you to get an outside line. This feature automatically inserts a pause between the access code and the telephone number that you have entered in the Phonebook. However for this feature to work you must still enter the access code at the front of the telephone number when storing in the Phonebook.
