Designed for continuous operation, this transmitter can be tuned to any frequency in the international broadcast bands between 3.9 and 22 megahertz in less than one minute. Introduction: In an effort to improve reliability and dependability, Continental teamed with Comet to identify replacement capacitors for the Continental Type 419F Transmitters. Scope: Continental was interested in continued support of existing installations. Application: Continental has verified these replacements and begun replacing failed capacitors in the field. Responsibilities: Since difference can occur over time in specific installations, it is always recommended to verify replacements in your application. Recommended Capacitors: CV3C-75E/60 MC2C-150E-2505 CV4W-1600F/60 CV3W-1600E/40 CV3C-650E/55 Similar Transmitters: These capacitors are also applicable to Continental Type 419C, 419D and 419F-2 transmitters.
