Anleitung Zusammenfassung
No manual adjustments are required. The height of the nozzle is instantly and automatically adjusted to any carpet pile height. This self adjusting feature allows the nozzle to float evenly over all carpet pile surfaces. Nozzle Deep Pile Carpet Shallow Pile Carpet EDGE CLEANING FEATURE _ The edge cleaning feature provides for improved cleaning of carpets near walls and furniture. DIRT SENSOR (MC-V7335/MOV7355) The electronic sensor is a feature which will detect particles as they pass through the vacuum cleaner. Red light indicates dirt is being picked up by the cleaner. Green light indicates most of the dirt has been picked up by the cleaner. The dirt sensor indicators and sensor sensitivity switch are located on the front of the switch cover. See the DIRT SENSOR section under TO OPERATE CLEANER section for operation. -8 - CARPET/BARE FLOOR SELECTOR (MC-V7335/MC-V7355) To use cleaner on bare floors, the carpet/bare floor selector on top of the nozzle should be positioned all the way back and down toward the bottom of the nozzle until it locks into place When the selector is in this position the agitator does not turn This is also the correct position to place the selector in to use the attachments Any time the attachments are used the agitator should not be turning To use cleaner on carpeted areas, the carpet/bare floor selector should be all the way forward and up to the carpet position This will allow the agitator to turn When carpets are being cleaned the selector should remain in this position Take care when selecting either position to make sure the selector is pushed fully and quickly as possible to the desired position Failure to do so can cause the belt to rub on the selector shaft and may result in the belt becoming hot and creating a burning rubber smell To prevent injury when returning the selector to the carpet position, use caution as the selector can move quickly upward due to tension caused by the belt Carpet/Bare Floor Selector To clean bare floor or use attachments To clean carpet HOSE RING AND HOSE RING MOUNT The hose nng is a feature designed to prevent tipping of the vacuum while performing certain tasks that involve the use of the attachments To use this anti-tip feature, place the hose ring in the hose ring mount as shown in the illustration Rotate this ring on the hose so that the hose ring knob will align with the slot in the hose nng mount and slide the ring down firmly until it stops For recommendations on when to use the hose ring and the exact location of the hose nng mount see the USE OF ATTACHMENTS section -9- TO OPERATE CLEANER A CAUTION Do not use outlets above counters Damage to items in the surrounding areas couid occur Be sure the switch is in the off position while piugging the cord in POWER CORD NOTE To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this vacuum has a polarized plug, (one blade is wider than the other) This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electncian to install the proper outlet DO NOT CHANGE THE PLUG IN ANY WAY ON/OFF SWITCH (MC-V7315) "* 1 Plug the power cord into a 120V outlet 8 111 2 To start the vacuum cleaner, push y / /1 \ \\ the switch to the ON position / / f fi\\\ 3 To stop the vacuum cleaner, push 11 \\\\ the switch to the OFF position / L^~M \ \V lSEZl n W\ M 1 - 10 • Personal Injury Hazard when Usmg Attachments Take great care when using the vacuum with the switch in the On position Anytime the handle is gripped the vacuum will come on whether it is intended or not ON/OFF SWITCH (MC-V7355) 1 Plug the power cord into a 120V outlet 2 The on/ off switch is a three (3) position switch The cJeaner can be used with this switch in the LOCK ON position to run continuously or the switch can be placed in the ON position, allowing the cleaner to be operated by gnpping the handle The inside gripping area of the handle has a Smart Handle™ control that will turn the cleaner on and will remain on until the handle is released The three (3) positions on the switch position selector (OFF, ON, LOCK ON) should always be aligned with the indicator tab on the handle for correct positioning of the switch selector 3 To stop the vacuum cleaner, pull the switch on the handle to the OFF position DIRT SENSOR (MC-V7335/MC-V7355) OPERATION - As you vacuum, the red indicator light will come on and stay on as long as the sensor detects a high concentration of particles passing through the cleaner The green light indicates that most of the cleaning is complete The sensor switch allows you to select the sensitivity of the dirt sensor The switch can be set to HI or LO sensitivity Set the sensor switch to the HI position when • Cleaning bare floors • Cleaning carpet with low pile height Set the sensor switch to the LO position when • Cleaning heavily soiled areas • Cleaning carpet with deep pile • Cleaning new carpet...
