The following text describes how to enter a name and number with the Phone Book menu and the keypad. The edited name and number are stored in the Phone Book. BusinessPhone – Ericsson Dialog 4425 IP Vision 75 System Phonebook System Phonebook Compared to the “Contacts (Phone Book)” on page 69, which is an IP phone function, the System Phonebook is stored in the BusinessPhone the system. The System Phonebook covers internal directory numbers as well as external common abbreviated numbers. As the System Phonebook is available for several telephone types the access as well as the navigation within the Phonebook is kept generic which means it will be controlled via the normal keypad. Use the System Phonebook *0# Press to search for internal directory numbers #0* Or: Press to search for common abbreviated numbers i i To exit the System Phonebook Press to exit 76 BusinessPhone – Ericsson Dialog 4425 IP Vision System Phonebook Make a Call . Enter the first letter(s) of the name. When pressing a key, the first available character on that specific key is displayed. To get the following characters, press the key repeatedly. Key 0 and 1 contain special characters. The marked character is selected after a time-out (3 seconds) or when another key is pressed. # # Note: In order to step through the whole System Phonebook, you can start the search function immediately without entering the first letter(s) of the name. Press to activate the search function Search routine was successful 0 0 The first entry which matches with your entered letter(s) will be displayed. Press to scroll forward in the list Or: * Press to scroll backward in the list OO OO By reaching the beginning or the end of the list a short beep tone will be sent.
