If your telephone wiring does not have a modular jack, you can update the wiring yourself using jacks and adapters (available at your local RadioShack store), or have the telephone company update the wiring for you. Connect the supplied long modular cord to the phone’s line jack. Fit the keyhole slots over the screw heads and slide the phone downward to secure it. Plug the line cord into the telephone line jack. To mount the phone on a wall plate, connect the supplied short modular cord as shown. Fit the keyhole slots over the wall plate studs and slide the phone downward to secure it. Before you hang up the handset on a wall- mounted phone, slide up the handset holder out of its slot, turn it, and slide it back into its slot.
