These release notes describe the modifications and known issues for Patch 25. The application of this
patch is intended for HP 3PAR InForm OS 2.3.1.330. Only an authorized HP Service provider should
perform this maintenance procedure.
1.1 Supported platforms
The HP 3PAR Configuration Matrix for InForm OS 2.3.1 contains information about supported hardware
and software platforms. For additional information, go to the Single Point of Connectivity Knowledge
for HP Storage Products (SPOCK) Web site at http://spock.corp.hp.com/index.aspx.
1.2 Verifying the patch installation
The installation of Patch 25 can be verified from an Interactive CLI session. Issue the CLI command
showversion -a -b to verify that Patch 25 is listed.

Found error in serial port where characters were looped back to the serial
inaccessible after reset
port which sometimes could cause timeout results in a cage reset and becomes
inaccessible. The fix prevents any characters to come back to the serial port,
