Keep your invoice with this manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front cover. Write the product’s serial number in the back of the manual near the assembly diagram, or write month and year of purchase if product has no number. Keep this manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference. Important warnings - general and specific READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical products, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: Read all instructions.1. WARNING! TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY, DO NOT INSERT OBJECTS INTO 2. GRILL. Position Batteries (8) in proper polarity. 3. DO NOT install batteries of different types, charge levels, or capacities together. People with pacemakers should consult their physician(s) prior to using this 4. product. Electromagnetic fields in close proximity to a heart pacemaker could cause interference or pacemaker failure. Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles during installation.5. Do not expose to moisture or rain. 6. This product is NOT waterproof. Keep out of reach of children. 7. REV 07j Do not touch the Metal Net (6). 8. The Metal Net (6) emits a small electric shock which may be harmful and could possible damage the product. Keep the Solar Panel (1) clean. 9. Wipe it periodically with a clean, slightly dampened soft cloth and dry thoroughly when finished. Maintain labels and nameplates on the Mosquito Killer. 10. These carry important information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement. Do not operate the Mosquito Killer near draperies or curtains. 11. These flammable materials may catch fire. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. 12. Metal pieces can break off the pads and touch electrical parts resulting in a risk of shock. Do not store anything other than the manufacturer’s recommended acces13. sories with this unit when not in use. Keep bystanders and children at a distance while operating the appliance. 14. UNPACKING When unpacking, check to make sure that the item is intact and undamaged. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible. Assembly Note: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, refer to the Assembly Diagram at the end of this manual. USING THE MOSQUITO KILLER ON TOP OF GROUND STAKE Always wear gloves when handling the Mosquito Killer.1. Assemble the Extension Poles (2) by pushing them together. Push the Ground 2. Stake (3) into the bottom Pole section. Place the Mosquito Killer on top of the Extension Poles (2) and pointed Ground 3. Stake (3). USING THE MOSQUITO KILLER ON A TABLE Always wear gloves when handling the Mosquito Killer.1. Place the Table Stand (7) on the bottom of the Mosquito Killer. It can then be placed 2. on a table, or any flat, stable platform. REPLACING THE BATTERIES Wear ANSI-approved safety Goggles and gloves when replacing Batteries.1. The Rechargeable Batteries (8) need to be replaced when the LED Light is flicker2. ing, or only operates for a short amount of time.
