Chapter 5 Copying 5-7 Creating a mirror image This feature allows you to make a mirror copy of a document. Use this feature when copying onto T-shirt transfers so that the image appears the right way when ironed onto fabric. Follow this procedure to make a mirror copy: 1 Load the document on the platen glass or Fax Model ADF. 2 Press [Copy]. 3 Use the numeric keys to enter the number of copies. 4 Adjust any necessary settings for your document (• step 4, p. 5-1). 5 Press [Menu]. 6 Press [Set]. To delete an entire entry: Press and hold [2]. 6 Registering Chapter 6 Registering information in your machine 6-1 • Registering required sender information In the United States, FCC rules governing the use of facsimile equipment state that your fax/ telephone number, personal name or company name, and date and time of transmission must be printed on every facsimile transmission. Your machine has been designed to print this information at the top of every fax you send. You must therefore register this information in your machine before using it. Below is an example of how your sender information will print on a fax sent from your machine: Date and time of transmission Your fax/telephone number.
