Some cleaners produce noxious fumes when applied to a hot surface. Wet cloths or sponges can cause burns from steam. • When self-cleaning, confirm that the door locks and will not open. If the door does not lock, do not run Self-Clean. Contact service. • Birds have very sensitive respiratory systems. Keep pet birds out of the kitchen or other rooms where kitchen fumes could reach them. During self clean, fumes are released that may be harmful to birds. Cookware Safety • Do not place food directly on oven bottom. • Follow the manufacturer’s directions when using cooking or roasting bags. The use of undersized cookware will expose a portion of the heating element or burner to direct contact and may result in ignition of clothing. Proper relationship of cookware to heating element or burner will also improve efficiency. • Cookware not approved for use with glass ceramic cooktops may break with sudden temperature changes.
