Before moving your computer, be sure to insert the ExpressCard slot protector into the slot. . If the module or adapter does not go into the slot easily, remove it gently and verify you are inserting it in the proper direction. Make sure you use the most recent software driver provided by the ExpressCard module manufacturer. 5252n N Using Your VAIO Computer Removing an ExpressCard Module Follow the steps below to remove the ExpressCard module while your computer is on. To remove an ExpressCard module when your computer is off, skip steps 1 to 7. 1 Double-click the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the taskbar.
