If so, change the angle or the position of the unit. • Operating this unit near a TV or radio may cause picture or noise interference. If this happens, move the unit away from these insturments. • Use a soft, dry cloth for routine cleaning. To remove fingerprints or dulling deposits, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water and a little neutral detergent, immediately wipe dry with a soft cloth. Do not use solvents such as paint thinners. • Do not allow fluid or foreign matter, such as water, beverages, coins and wires, to enter this unit. • Do not examine or modify the internal components or circuitry. Electrical shocks or damage may result. • Do not subject this unit to strong shocks, or move it while the power is on. • If this unit fails to operate correctly, turn it off immediately and contact your Roland dealer. PANEL DESCRIPTION (D MIDI OUT Socket Connect a MIDI device to control to this socket. (2) AC Adaptor Socket Connect an optional AC adaptor(BOSS ACA Series) to this socket. [AC ADAPTOR] Be sure to use an optional BOSS AC adaptor, ACA-120, 220 or 240 depending on the line voltage system in your country. HOW TO CONNECT THE AC ADAPTOR Connect the optional AC adaptor to the AC Adaptor socket(9V) on the rear of the RC-3. * You can keep the battery securely connected even while using an AC adaptor, then the unit will continue to operate even if the AC adaptor cord comes out during performance. <4^ AC Adaptor CONNECTIONS Connect the MIDI OUT socket on the RC-3 to the MIDI IN socket on the MIDI device to be controlled using a MIDI cable. To control more than one MIDI device, make connections via MIDI THRU socket on each device. To connect more than three units, however, you must use a THRU BOX such as the MPU-105. MIDI Channel Mode This mode sets the MIDI channel of the relevant MIDI device. Program Change Mode This mode allows you to enter and transmit a Program Change number.
