Anleitung Zusammenfassung


To obtain distortion sound, connect to overdrive jack. When you do not hope to distort the sound or when using big output guitar, connect to normal jack, VOLUME This knob controls volume. Turn clockwise ( C> ) to increase and counterclockwise ( O ) to decrease. TREBLE This knob controls high range response. Turn clockwise ( O ) to lift and counterclockwise ( O i to cut. MIDDLE This knob controls middle range response. Turn clockwise ( CV ) to lift and counterclockwise { O ) to cut. BASS This knob controls low range response. Turn clockwise ( O ) to lift and counterclockwise ( O ) to cut. REVERB This knob controls reverberation sound. Turn clockwise ( O ) to increase and counterclockwise ( C) ) to decrease. MASTER VOLUME This knob controls output. Turn clockwise ( O ) to increase and counterclockwise { O } to decrease. Note that no sound is produced at full-counter-clockwise (0) position. PILOT LAMP With power switch set to ON, this lamp lights to indicate that the unit is ready to operate. REAR PANEL PRE-OUT JACK EXTERNAL SPEAKER JACK REVERB FOOTSWITCH JACK FUSE HOLDER PRE-OUT JACK CUBE-40 can be linked through this jack to iine in of another guitar amplifier or to PA mixer. Recording is also possible by connecting to a tape deck. MAIN-IN JACK An effects unit can be connected between the pre-out jack and this main-in jack. OPERATING CUBE-40 REVERB FOOTSWITCH JACK Connect footswitch to this jack and you can remote-contro! the reverb effect to ON or OFF during performance, HEADPHONES JACK Connecting headphones to this jack, no sound is produced through the speaker, You can enjoy your playing loud even at midnight. Stero or monaural headphones can be used. EXTERNAL SPEAKER JACK External speaker system with 8fl or over can be connected and sound can be produced being switched from the combined speaker. This is very effective when sound spread is required. POWER SWITCH Set to ON to run the amplifier. NORMAL SOUND Set the knobs and switches as illustrated below. While playing the guitar, adjust volume and tone controls (treble/mtddie/bass) to obtain the best sound. (ft) © © ©I© Q © HARD DISTORTION Starting from the mode for the normal sound, turn volume clockwise { O } to obtain hard distortion. SOFT DISTORTION Starting from the mode for the normal sound, turn master volume counterclockwise ( O 1 and volume clockwise ( O ), to obtain soft distortion. Adjust these two knobs properly to obtain just the sound you like. .0000IQ REVERB CONTROL Turn the knob clockwise { O reberberation sound. to obtain proper TO MAKE THE BEST USE OF CUBE-40 To produce distortion sound effectively Connect the guitar to overdrive input. Set the amplifier volume at 5 — S and master voiume at 3 — 5. Then adjust the tone controls (treble/middle/bass) to produce the best tonal quality. The bigger the guitar output is, the greater the distortion effect becomes, it is recommended, therefore, to set voiume control on guitar to the maximum position. CAUTION • !f neon or fluorescent lamp is located close to amplifier or instruments, that may cause noise. Separate them from each other. Also, selecting direction of guitar can reduce the noise. • Do not put in or out the power plug with amplifier volume set at high level. Speaker is heavily loaded by uncontrolled signals, causing the fear of breaking it, Do it after turning volume to "0" without fail. • When connecting instrument and amplifier, connect cord plug to instrument first and then the other end to amplifier. For disconnection, reverse the order: from amplifier first and then from instrument. • Do not exert big shock upon amplifier. Avoid moving amplifier while it is on. • Avoid using CUBE-40 where there is much dust or under high humidity conditions, which may cause trouble. • If amplifier is soiled, clean with mild cleanser. * Avoid using thinner or the like. • When replacing a fuse, be sure to use that with the specified rating. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE If your unit does not operate properly, take proper action consulting the table below. The symptom listed would be caused by mistake in using the unit. If the trouble cannot be remedied even after the actions instructed, or if there is any symptom other than those listed, make contact with the shop you bought your CUBE-40. SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE ACTION TO BE TAKEN Even when power switch is set ON, pilot lamp does not light and no Imperfect connection of power cord. Plug in power cord perfectly. sound is produced. Fuse blown. Replace. Piiot lamp lights, but no sound is produced. Volume is set to minimum. Turn to proper level. Reverb not effected. Reverb volume is set to minimum. Turn to proper level.
