Back Cover Getting Started Step 1: Hooking up the system Do the following procedure 1 to 7 to hook up your system using the supplied cords and accessories. Surround speaker* (Right) AM loop antenna Surround speaker* (Left) Front speakerFront speaker FM antenna 365124 (Right) * MHC-VX77 only. 1 Connect the speakers. Connect the speaker cords of front speakers to the SPEAKER jacks as below. Insert only the stripped portion. R + L + – Red/Solid (3) Black/Stripe (#) (Left) 2 Connect the surround speaker (MHC-VX77 only). Connect the speaker cords to SURROUND SPEAKER jacks. R L Notes • Keep the speaker cords away from the antennas to prevent noise. • The type of speakers supplied varies according to the model you purchased (see “Specifications” on page 53). 3 Connect the FM/AM antennas.
