Do not use attachments not recommended by HoMedics; specifically any attachments not provided with the unit. • NEVER operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Instructions for Use To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Seat Cushion (x1) G. Seat Base Mechansim (x1) H. Plastic Cone Cover (x1) I. Star Base (x1) J. Rolling Castors (x5) K. Pneumatic Cylinder (x1) Figure 1 4 Instructions 1. Place the star base face down and firmly press the rolling castors into place. 2. Insert the pneumatic cylinder into the star base and cover with the plastic cone cover. Figure 2A Figure 2B Figure 3 5 3. Attach the seat base mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the included Allen wrench and 4 of the screws. Make sure the arrow on the seat base mechanism is pointing toward the front edge of the seat cushion (label on seat cushion). 4. Place the seat cushion on top of the pneumatic cylinder. Make sure the cylinder is positioned properly by sitting on the seat cushion. 5. Attach the armrests (labeled as R and L for right and left sides) onto the seat cushion using the included Allen wrench and 4 of the screws (2 on each side). DO NOT TIGHTEN THE SCREWS COMPLETELY. 6.
