Download the current version of the respective file from the Medion website, expand it and copy it into the D: \VR-pulse directory. Note Please pay attention to the capital letters and the small initial letters. The file must not be moved or renamed. 2. Delete all the other files that are in the D:\VR-pulse directory. 3. All data, settings and downloaded updates will be deleted and will need to be re-installed. After installing a new version, optimizations will be performed during the first re-start, which will make the start-up time longer. Subsequent restarts will be not be affected. Restore to factory default You can restore MEDION® FastBoot to the default settings by clicking Restore to factory default in the MEDION® FastBoot Control Panel. Warning! All your current settings will be reset to the factory defaults and you will have to download the upgrades like Google Chrome & VLC- player once again. MEDION® FastBoot will not have been affected by this and all data will have been retained if you set the Windows operating system back to the status at delivery. Open the Control Panel by clicking on the icon with the toothed wheel. 2. Select Preferred OS . FastBoot in order to establish FastBoot as the standard operating system, or select Preferred OS • Microsoft Windows, in order to establish Microsoft Windows as the preferred operating system. 3. Your notebook will start automatically with the preferred operating system at the next start. Note If FastBoot is selected as the preferred OS it will no longer be necessary to start MEDION ® FastBoot with the aid of the F9 button. You can naturally also make the same settings with the Microsoft Windows, as described above, under the MEDION ® FastBoot option.
