System Requirements To use this USB Stick and the Vodafone Mobile Connect sof t ware, you need: – A computer running Microsof t® Windows Vista™, Windows® XP SP2 or Windows® 200 0 SP4, or an Apple Mac running Mac OS® X 10. 3.9 or above – At least 10 0 MB free disk space and 256 MB R AM memor y – A USB socket – Administrator rights on your computer. * SMS is currently only supported on computers running Microsoft Windows. Set up your • Remove the cap from the end of the USB Stick . Slide out the SIM holder from its slot, and inser t your SIM as shown. USB Stick SIM card • Push the SIM holder back into the USB Stick until it clicks . • If you are using a MicroSD memor y card with your Stick (to allow your Stick to behave as a flash memor y drive), inser t the card as shown. • Plug the USB Stick firmly into your computer ’s USB por t. MicroSD card Start the software On Microsoft Windows computers The first time you plug your USB Stick into a PC the sof t ware setup should star t automatically, and proceed to set up your USB Stick . If for some reason the setup does not star t, r ight click on the VMC Lite 9. 3.x.x drive in ‘My Computer ’ (Star t Menu, Computer for Vista machines), select E xplore and double-click the fi le called setup_vmc_lite.exe on the USB Stick. Follow the on-screen instructions. Set ting up your USB Stick may take a few minutes, but once the setup is finished, the Vodafone Mobile Connect Lite sof t ware should star t automatically. If for some reason the program does not star t, select Vodafo ne M o bi le Conn ec t from the Windows Star t menu. On Mac OS X computers The first time you plug in your USB Stick , it will show up on your desktop like a standard USB memor y stick. From the USB Stick window, double- click the fi le called Vo dafone MC Ins t al ler, and follow the on-screen instructions .
