POLARIZED PLUG This appliance has a polarized plug—one blade is wider than the other. Toreduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse it. Ifit still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by modifying the plug in any way. How To Use-English BEFORE FIRST USE The Blades are sharp; be very careful as you wipe all parts with a damp cloth or sponge. DO NOT put any parts in the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly. Note: For your protection, this unit has a Lid interlock system. DO NOT attempt to operate unless the Lid is securely in place. HOW TO USE 1. Remove the Lid and place up to 2/3 cup (approximately 60 grams) maximum coffee beans into the Grinding Bowl. This will yield about 10 - 12 tablespoons of ground coffee — enough for 10 – 12 cups. 2. Place the Lid securely on the Grinding Bowl. Plug in the Grinder. Press the Pulse Control for a few seconds and release (A). Be careful not to overprocess. Grind beans for 5 – 10 seconds for a coarse grind, 15 to 20 seconds for a fine grind. 3. You might start with smaller amounts, add beans, and repeat the grinding process.
