Before using the printer for the first time, remove the tape holdinq the twin spool ribbon in place. See figure 1 and 2. Fig ■ Loading the Paper Set the slide switch NP/P/IP switch to NP position Place paper holder into position (fig 3) Install the paper roll on the holder (fig 3) Insert the paper into the printer slot (fig 4) Press [ key to feed paper to desired length Setting the Time/Date Fig Flg.i 1) Press TIME and then press and hold SET key until the first digit of the month flashes 2) Enter the month MM using the number keys (the first digit of the month will flash) 3) Enter the date DD using the number keys (the first digit of the date will flash) 4) Enter the year YYYY using the number keys (the first digit of the year will flash) 5) Press SET to confirm the date 6) Press C/CE,TIME, TIME and then press and hold SET until 1st digit flashes. Enter the time using the number keys. 7) Press AM/PM to toggle morning or afternoon and press SET to confirm the time. 8) Pressl 2/24 to switch between 12-hour or 24-hour clock.
