When a card is inserted, DPOF print settings on the card are canceled. .To print the date You can set/cancel the printing with the recorded date by pressing the [DISPLAY] button after setting the number of prints. This feature allows you to write print information into the media and to use such information on the DPOF-compliant system. • If the file is not based on the DCF standard, the DPOF print setting cannot be set. DCF is an abbreviation of [Design rule for Camera File system], stipulated by JEITA [Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association]. • When setting the DPOF print on the camera, delete any previous DPOF print settings made by other equipment. Preventing Accidental Erasure of the Picture [PROTECT] You can set the protection for the pictures which you do not want to be deleted by accident. 1 Select [SINGLE], [MULTI] or [CANCEL]. Select [NO] and press 1 to start normal playback. • Pictures set with the DPOF Slide Show by the [SD Viewer for DSC] cannot be played back as a Slide Show. • Motion images cannot be played back in the Slide Show. • When you play back pictures with audio, the next picture appears after the playback of the audio is finished (when [AUDIO] is set to [ON]). (DMC-LZ2 only) Adding Audio to Recorded Pictures [AUDIO DUB.] (DMC LZ2 only) You can record the audio after taking a picture (max. 10 seconds per picture). 1 Select the picture and start audio recording.
